European Central Bank (ECB) head Christine Lagarde to step down in February, before her term ends

European Central Bank (ECB) President Christine Lagarde is to resign nine months ahead of the end of her 8-year term. European Council President Antonio Costa has said the process to find a successor is underway.   ​
